This web site is for the entertainment of former pupils and staff from Western Park Open Air School in the City of Leicester UK, This school opened its doors to pupils on the 9th November 1930 and provided 75 years of Educational support for young people with breathing conditions and learning disabilities and was officially described as a special school for delicate children.

On the 15th July 2005 Western Park School (as it was then known) closed its doors for the very last time an end of a err and the begining of my efforts to keep the school i once called my second home open for the world to see why every person that attended it misses it so very much

My Name is Glynn Finney I was a pupil of this school between 1979 and 1992 from which i transfered my education to a local further education college and then university were i gained a masters in Computers, sadly my breathing condition progressed as i gained in age and meant that my skills could never be used in the technology world.

From 1997 to present day i've been registered disabled and spend much of my time in front of a computer screen from my home in Leicestershire, managing and designing web sites for local businesses and friends and family and also combating chest infection after chest infection in a effort to lead a life which i would class as normal, My pride and joy is this web site and its big brother site i spend ever hour i can working in the background trying to make the site more user friendly to my fellow users

Both my sites are funded from my own pocket and i do not ask for any contribution towards the sites running cost which therefore means that sometimes the work has to stop until i have saved enough cash to continue, lucky enough this year 2009 i have received web hosting sponsorship from a local web hosting company that has offered me FREE web space for as long as i require it.

This has now meant that i can finally expand both sites so that my friends can enjoy more access and fun.

All software and services used on this site are bought and paid for by me and I have never receive any FREE software items for use here.
